Dr. Huang is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine and the Interim Executive Director at the UCLA Simulation Center. Since 2000, she has overseen the administration and development of simulation programs, providing curriculum design, instructor training and evaluation, and research collaboration with clinical educators. She has a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from UCLA, a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a Doctor of Education from UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies. She completed a Fellowship in Medical Education and was honored as a Fellow in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). She was the first Education Chair for SSH and has presented her work at many conferences. Her research interests focus on using qualitative and quantitative methods to explore teaching techniques, teamwork and communication skills, and the effectiveness of simulation training. Yue-Ming enjoys cultural events, traveling, hiking, outdoor adventures, photography, and dancing.
